COOL MATH

The audience for my game is ages 5-12.Since the game is about physics.The player musy know how to move is the right direction and the law of gravity.People who play this game will learn about how to stadegise.The enviorment of the game looks like every thing is frozen and everytime you take longer the ice is closer to getting melted.The enviorment helps the player learn by where to go and what the block is capable of.A game is  abeeter way of understanding this topic than a quiz because you would be more intrested in gmaes and you would learn way more in a game than a quiz.

Imagine Your game

WHO are you designing your game for?  People who are in middle school for any gender.
WHAT will your game teach the player about your topic?If they are it will teach them to treat the enviorment better if there not.
WHERE does your game happen?aroun the world to give an idea of how much people pollute.
Describe the world you will design for your game.
How will this setting add to the learning experience? it will support the fact of how much the world is pollted.
HOW does your game world teach the player about your topic?my world supports it by showing what some people have to face. 
What happens in the world that helps the player learn?what fact people might have to face one day.
How does the player use what they learned to make something happen in the game?they might go out and help the community by picking up trash and help stop pollution.
WHY is a game a better way of understanding your topic than a quiz?people will actully play a game and learn something but you could do a quiz and get bored and not learn anything. 

TEMPEST IN CRESENT CITY

One thing I learend about hurricane Katrina by playing the game is I at least had an idea of the destruction that happend.I think the creaters made you brake roofs and stuff so we could have an idea of how hard it was for the rescuers to rescue people.To explain how tight time was and how hard it was to rescue all of the people.The game effected me because its point realy went across.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hurricane_Katrina

PLAYING TO LEARN

Readers I would like to inform you what I learned on the games I played.My favorite game genre was action they were so tempting to play over and over again.A couple things I learned were that you can do a background that follows you.I noticed that you can put flying objects to follow your main character I thought that was interesting.How do you make objects chase your main character.

MAKE A MINI GAME

The first thing I want  to tell you reader is what I have learned is how to crate and finish a  mini game in flash the first thing we had to do is we had to read instructions from the wiki.Then we put the characters that we were going to use on  the stage  then we gave the carrot an instance name before that we put we took the other  characters in the libery.After that we made are carrot move back and forth in a loop then we got the bunny and madeit move up down side to side.Then we did a hit test so when the bunny would touch the carrot it would go back to its starting place.After that we did the score so we would get points.we gotthe wolf forom the library made it be smart then we were done.IT was challenging to make a mini game.The best part was playing my own mini game.The worst part was the wait.

BE THE CHANGE

I felt that I was making a difference because I was doing a good thing that would not just benefit me it would benefit the community.I felt that I was doing something important and I was apart of it a chance that I have that would have a big impact on the community and maybe someday the world.Apart from this I  would like to help the elderly because they need help to.My service learning project that I participated in on Saturday was piking up trash were people just thow there trash we made a big differance.

Meet flash

I think flash and ActionScript were fun becauseI got to use all the tools got to update my file picture.Although it was kind of easy and somewhat a chalenge it was easy because it was simlpe.

Children of heaven

The little boy lost his sisters shoes then through out the movie he trys  to find the shoes but a blind man has them and he feels bad.Then his dad finds a job as a gardener at the little boys school theres a race and third place gets a pair of shoes.The little boy trys to get third but he ends up geting first place at the end his father buy him and his little sister each a pair of shoes.I noticed that the wemon had a scarf on there heads but not all muslims are terrorist.The kids did have torn shoes but they do not kill people for a living.One thing I learend about muslims was that some of them were loyal and honest.The thing about Ali is that he has a hard life but he is not responsible because he lost his sisters shoes. Here is a link to an aticle to learn more about the movie children of heaven.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Children_of_Heaven

What Happend

How did that effect the economy and the goverment?This is what  I know about what happend on 9/11  I know that four airplanes were hijaked.I also know that two out of the four crashed into the twin towers.

The danger of a single story

When you have a single story you rely on one topic that you've got for some thing place or person.Some people think just based on someones skin that there all like that and none are different form eachother.One single story in my community that I have heard about is that mexicans can not swim.That is not true and I know that because I can swim very good.I think a great way to change peoples minds is books.I have heard people say that white people cant jump.I heard this story when I was at a resterant.If I did not know that story was not trueI could have read books.All differant people working as a team.

Cyberbullying

I would like to tell you the users about cyberbullying I wachted a movie about it I felt the movie was very realistic since a lot of cyberbullying is going on a lot with all these social networks.That does not mean the intenet is a bad resourse it might be if you use it it inthe rong way.I myself have been cyberbulled multipule times I felt vulnerable that is why today i'm putting my fellings in to this blog.I learend how hutful cyberbullying can be I cant belave people even try cyberbullying.Now I am going to what all of us can do to stop cyberbullying.When some one bullys you online you can block the user or not talk to them or you can tell a trusted adult.In the movie the girl made a  lot of bad decisions but in the end she did the right thing and finnaly weant to grop session she talked about what happend to her.The bullying finally stoped when she ans some other kids stood up to the bullys.
